When Douglas Costa gets into full flow, he’s virtually a blur. Unless you’ve seen it, it’s hard to understand just how rapid he is. His driving runs, ball at feet, elicit great roars of delight from the fans – and it is exhilarating to see the opposition powerless to stop his advances. Yet Costa’s energy is also paired with Brazilian flair, making for a potent cocktail of talents.
