34 years young!

Today, Cristiano Ronaldo turns 34 and it has most certainly been one whirlwind of a year for our Portuguese superstar.

To celebrate his birthday we’ve decided to look back at a few of his top moments from this day last year!

The most followed

In October, Cristiano Ronaldo became the most followed person on Instagram. Taking the top spot off the young sensation pop singer, Selena Gomez.

That’s some achievement, considering that our man is the only athlete and non-American to don the top 10 list. Ronaldo is now on a staggering 153 million followers, second to only Instagram itself that exerts a number of 279 million. A number that nobody will be reaching anytime soon.

The rest of the list consists of reality TV personalities, musicians and actors. But Ronaldo hails as the only person to beat. Long may his reign continue.

More silverware in the cabinet

Ronaldo scored the only goal in our 1-0 win against Milan which saw him win his first piece of silverware for the club.

In the hot January terrain of Saudi Arabia, our Bianconeri lifted our seventh Supercoppa Italiana in a row. And it is was Ronaldo’s brace that took home the trophy.
