From today, the centenary section at Juventus Museum has an extra entry, and it’s one from a recent momentous occasion. It is the shirt from captain, Giorgio Chiellini’s 500thappearance in Bianconero, which was worn on the night of the great Champions League comeback against Atletico Madrid.
A truly special night for all Bianconeri, and an extra special one for Chiellini, to reach such a historic milestone on what was such a perfect night for everyone connected to Juventus. Both moments will now be immortalised together, as today, in the presence of the President of Juventus Museum, Paolo Garimberti, the #Chiello500 shirt was entered into the museum, personally delivered by the Bianconeri number 3 himself.
Afterwards Chiellini told Juventus TV:
"These were 500 appearances in which I experienced so many emotions and had the honour of playing with great champions. I reached the grand number on a special night for all of us. Now, two weeks have passed, we have let the occasion settle and we are ready for these last two months."
